Title: Assistant Coach
Ashlynn Albert, a four-year athlete at Centenary College of Louisiana, is in her first season as an assistant coach at Schreiner University. Albert is involved in all facets of the program, including player development, practice planning, recruiting, scouting, and film analysis.
During her collegiate career at Centenary,  the team  made it to the conference tournament in the 2017–2018 season, a year that marked the second-most team wins the program had seen in the previous decade. She was also recognized for her academic success, earning back-to-back selections to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll in 2018 and 2019.  Following graduation, Albert returned to her hometown of Dallas,Tx,  where she joined the University of Dallas women's basketball staff as a Graduate Assistant Coach. In her role, she was responsible for player development, organizing and running practices, maintaining relationships with current and prospective student-athletes and their families, overseeing strength and conditioning, and film breakdown and analysis using Synergy Sports. Albert also oversaw team study hall, helping to significantly improve the team’s overall GPA and maintain a strong academic culture. During her time at the University of Dallas, Albert played a pivotal role in turning the program around, helping lead the team from just 2 wins to back-to-back 10+ win seasons (2022-2023 & 2023-2024). Under her guidance, the team earned consecutive conference tournament appearances and produced five All-Conference players.  A graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana (Bachelor of Arts in Biology, 2021), gradaute of University of Dallas (Master's of Business Administration, 2024)
